The Hawaii Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America’s Southwest Region took to the island’s roadways to enjoy Hawaii’s beautiful fall weather.
A total of 16 luxury vehicles, including 10 Ferrari drivers, 3 McLaren drivers, an Aston Martin, a Lamborghini, and an Audi R8 formed a convoy of horsepower on the Ewa plain of western Oahu, exploring relics of the island’s past. They spent the morning touring around Ewa Beach, as well as sights like pineapple fields and abandoned railroad lines.
After the ride, they switched to a lower horsepower, racing electric go-karts at the K1 Speed indoor racing center. The drivers competed over 15 laps of karting, using serious racing tactics like over-taking and drifting. One Ferrari driver noted: “drifting in a go-kart is pretty close to driving a Ferrari with the CST off!”
